When is the last time you had your basic preventative health screenings? Even if you lead a healthy lifestyle or have had negative experiences with health care providers in the past, it is critical to get screened to catch a preventable health crisis before it happens.
The All Life Community understands that the high cost of healthcare can also deter people from getting the health screens they need. And so, we are offering a bi-annual Integrative Health Screening days, in May and October of each year, free to the public.
What Health Screens are Offered?
The following screens have been confirmed for October:
Finger-prick cholesterol and glucose testing
Blood pressure, heart rate/pulse, oxygen saturation, respiration
Height, Weight, Body Mass Index
Integrative Health Inventory
Behavioral Health Surveys (anxiety and depression screening)
Additional Services: Medication/Supplement Review, Reiki, Sound Therapy, Aromatherapy
Additionally, we hope to include these screens:
Risk Reduction Education
In addition to screens, there will also be classes and mini-services available in modalities such as massage therapy, acupuncture, Reiki, sound therapy, art therapy, reflexology, and personal coaching.
What Makes the Screenings ‘Integrative?’
The care inspired through the All Life Community is based on a 6-domain model of integrative wellness. Our free screening days are all about the domain of knowledge, and how that knowledge helps you understand and address your health from a holistic perspective.
We will offer traditional health screens as well more unique, innovative screens and other services to create a more integrative offering.
The screens can be totally anonymous, if desired, and you will not be required to provide any insurance or health information.
How is it Possible for This to be Free of Charge?
This free health screening initiative is made possible by the generous donations of the community and people just like you. The more money we raise toward this initiative, the more screens we can offer completely for free!
Please consider donating through this secure, online site, or in person at the All Life Center.
Are Volunteers Needed?
Yes! We need volunteers to act as greeters, runners, help with directing parking and other general needs for the day. We also are in need of skilled/licensed medical professionals to help with blood pressures, heart rates, finger prick tests, etc.
Please email Melinda Cooksey or call 740-201-8242 if you are interested and able to help.
I Want to get Screened, How Can I Sign up?
